In May of 2010, I will graduate from Concordia College of Moorhead, MN with a degree in Food/Nutrition/Dietetics. The liberal arts education that I have received has not only provided me with an academic base, but has also enhanced my leadership development, volunteer opportunities, as well as providing cultural experiences through a study abroad program. My interest in the area of food and nutrition has been enhanced and more clearly defined by my work experiences and professional involvement. My opportunities to develop critical thinking and organizational skills, project leadership, and problem solving will provide me with the ability to be successful in a variety of potential work settings as a Registered Dietitian. I feel that I have maximized my academic and personal growth opportunities at Concordia. I am confident that my passion and knowledge in the field of dietetics will carry through in my dietetic internship.
